Grady County Commissioners joined Cartridge Recycling of America in an effort to recycle such things as printer cartridges, pagers and cell phones.
In their weekly meeting yesterday morning, Jan. 18, the commissioners passed a resolution in favor of the recycling program.
Cartridge Recycling of America is offering Grady County the opportunity to preserve the environment and make money through its free services.
Jim Davis, a representative from Cartridge Recycling of America said, "There is no charge to recycle. We don't bill and we give money back to you."

The Social Invention:
A simple measure to save energy and money would be to simply turn off road lights on motorways after a certain point in th evening/early morning. Even if only for a few hours, it could save a lot of money over the year.
