This board can make recommendations to the Wildlife and Fisheries pertaining to hunting, fishing, trapping water sports, boating recreation on the reservoir. So what will the new laws be?
The board can sell the water for agricultural recreation, commercial, industrial and sanitary purposes. The money from the sales is tax free. I wish I could I could get anything tax free."

The price of Rockland's homes is going up, and the county's high taxes just exacerbate the problem, Debbie Czerwin said.
That includes a mortgage tax her daughter will pay if and when she finds a home.
"It's not like our taxes are going down," she said. "We're not getting a thing for it."
For the past year, Rockland home buyers have paid a county tax on every new or refinanced mortgage - 25 cents for every $100 borrowed.
The tax took effect Oct. 1, 2003."
